Eight Monterey deeds recorded in four weeks, but only half list a sale price
Monterey recorded eight property deed transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, four with a disclosed sale price ranging from $30,000 to $1,195,000 and a median of $275,000. The top sale was 10 Buckingham Lane at $1,195,000 on July 10, with Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and Eastern Bank listed as buyers. Four of the eight recorded deeds listed a bank or credit union as either seller or buyer, and two others involved estate transfers with no buyer listed. No street recorded more than one sale, and no bed, bath or square-footage data was available in the deed records.
