Monterey home sale tops $2.2 million as conservation group completes three land acquisitions
Monterey recorded 10 property transfers at the Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds from Sept. 4 to Oct. 3, though only four carry a posted sale price so far. Among those, prices ranged from $250,000 to $2,222,500, with a median of $506,250. The period's top sale was 169 Mount Hunger Road, which sold for $2,222,500 on Sept. 10 to Lisa L. Walker. Monterey Town Conservation was involved in three of the 10 transactions, as both buyer and seller. With six prices still pending at the registry, a full read on the month's market tone isn't yet possible from the available data.
