Monterey recorded 14 property transfers in October, but sale prices have posted for only four so far, ranging from $304,000 to $2,500,000 with a median of $452,750 among the priced sales. The month's top transaction was 203 Mount Hunger Road at $2,500,000, sold by trustees Carol Ann Landess and Steven J. Schwartz to Steven and Melissa Weissman. Three of the four priced sales named a bank or credit union as buyer. With most deeds still awaiting recorded prices, the data available this period offers only a partial picture of market tone.
