Monterey Sees 14 Deeds Recorded as Top Sale Hits $2.2 Million
Southern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 14 Monterey property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19. Five carried a listed sale price, ranging from $250,000 to $2,222,500, with a median of $675,000; the other nine had no price on file yet, which is typical while registry data catches up. The month's top sale was 169 Mount Hunger Road at $2,222,500 to buyer Lisa L. Walker. Sylvan Road and Beartown Mountain Road each saw two recorded transfers, and Monterey Town Conservation was party to three deeds. The available data shows a wide price range but offers no basis for calling the period especially active or slow.
